Amazing experience at Marae Noho
Northcote students recently enjoyed an incredible week at theKupe Waka Centrein Aurere, Doubtless Bay. It was a beautiful experience focused on building whanaungatanga and diving deep into Kaupapa Waka and Navigation.
The highlight for many was taking to the water to put their skills into practice on thewakatauā,Rangatahi.
Beyond the technical skills, the group gained a true sense of community, learning what it’s like to live and work together on a marae. From team-building challenges to plenty of time in the water, everyone made the most of every moment!
